Writing & Illustrating a Children's Book: The Missing Planet

I wrote and illustrated the children's book The Missing Planet with the help of my good friend Helya. 

The story follows Moon, who counts the planets and suspects there should be more than eight. Curious, she decides to go and meet the planets. Along the way, she meets all the planets in the solar system and learns a little about them, before finally meeting with little Pluto. She asks Pluto if he is a planet, but he says no. Either way, Moon asks Pluto to stay and decides that there are eight planets and one Pluto, and that feels just right.

All illustrations were done by me without the use of generative AI.
